Photo Academy is a unique five day course running every Summer half term.

 

This course will explore the role of Photography in generating questions and discussions.  We will attempt to photograph blind, challenge ourselves to photograph the most boring things we can find, attempt to take what we think is a bad photograph, resulting in a group discussion about the blind, boring and bad works.  We will make rules for photographing, that others have to follow.  We will then break those rules.  We will take photographs of fragments of ourselves that when placed back together like a puzzle form distorted portraits. We will make photomontages that merge bodies with landscapes and will embark on photo walks to take some of the projects.  Humour is welcomed!
